The sales person [name removed] is responsive and informative. Contract and purchase process was easy. [name removed], the construction manager was probably overbooked and our orientation meeting was rushed through. He did his best though since he had another orientation. He resolved our queries and took care of major issues considering ours was a quick closing. Items/Concerns listed below affected my rating to go down from 10 to 8 - 1. There is a leak in bathroom downstairs which isn't fixed since a month despite the two visits by horizon plumbing's plumber. 2. The front door had scratches which was replaced and even replacement door had a scratch. I was told that I should expect minor scratches. 3. The gutter isn't properly done at the front. 4. So many paint touch ups pending 5. The fence has too much gaps and no fate on the side fence. It's Difficult to get hold of the construction manager.

Warranty has been very disappointing. We entered at least 10 different tickets and never heard back until I started contacting our sales agent. Even then, the person who finally came out once (now I believe no longer with the company) was unresponsive and very challenging to work with. We have lived in our home for just over 6 months and never had a month one check up, only had a month three because I pushed to get someone out to handle our tickets. Recently there has been a change and so far, it does seem that *some* of our issues are being handled. We still have a handful of items that haven’t been addressed with no dates as to when they will be. Seems a bit like selective attention to tickets unfortunately, and the repairman who came most recently showed up 3 hours late and only after I texted about their timeline.

From contract to move-in everything work better than we could have imagined. [name removed] and his team exceeded all of our repair request upon moving into the home. The communication has been amazing throughout the process and and month after. We are Happy we chose Trophy!

[name removed] was such a warm and sweet person from the beginning, there was never any pressure and she always responded to any questions within a day which made us feel more confident! [name removed] as well was very patient with our questions and explained everything in detail during walk through. Even after our purchase he always got back to us with detailed answers to any concerns we had which made moving in comfortable for us.

This is not the first home we tried to purchase. The first had major deficiencies/code violations that neither sales rep would agree to fix if we purchased the house. I proposed a slightly lower purchase price, which they also refused. A few days later they sold to someone else for a much lower price than my proposal and claim to have fixed some of the issues. The house we did purchase had a few issues pop up after closing. The major one and one they refuse to remedy is that water will not drain away on the east side of the house.

I still have outstanding items to be fixed that has been submitted to the warranty portal and unaddressed. The trades that Trophy sends in to do the work have no clue what they’re supposed to be doing. Others items I was told they are not emergencies so they need to wait for the 6-month checkup. I didn’t see that anywhere in the warranty contract/agreement.

[name removed] always responded with all questions we had, and [name removed] worked responsibly until the end, helped us much more than we expected. Hello Mr.[name removed] Brickman & Trophy Customer Care team, I am writing to address a concerning incident of racism and false property information that my partner and I experienced during the purchase & closing process on May 23rd. I would like to provide you with a detailed account of the events that unfolded: Our closing appointment was scheduled for 10 am, and we arrived at the [name removed] [name removed] [name removed] office around 9:45 am. Upon entering, we greeted the receptionist with a "good morning," but she completely ignored us and failed to respond to our polite gesture. After completing the necessary closing formalities, we were instructed to proceed to the Trophy model home in [name removed] [name removed] [name removed] to collect the keys. Upon reaching the location, we noticed that the sign indicated it was open. However, to our surprise, the door was locked. Despite repeatedly ringing the bell, no one answered, leaving us without the keys to our new home on such an important day. We attempted to contact the Trophy customer care number and [name removed] but were unable to reach anyone at [name removed] [name removed] [name removed]. In desperation, we reached out to [name removed] from [name removed] mortgage, who contacted the sales rep inside the model house. When he finally emerged, he handed us the keys on the road in a disrespectful manner, accompanied by the remark, "Looking for keys?" This interaction left us feeling insulted. Additionally, the passcode we were provided to enter the house turned out to be incorrect, further complicating the situation and preventing us from accessing our own property. We tried contacting Trophy customer service, but their assistance was of no avail. Fortunately, we managed to reach the gentleman who had given us the home orientation, and he provided us with the correct code to enter our house. Regarding the lot size, during our discussions with [name removed], it was explicitly stated that the house would be situated on a 60ft lot. Based on this information, we proceeded with signing the agreement. However, after the transfer of funds, we were informed that the front lot size was actually 57ft, not 60ft. We inquired if an alternative lot could be allocated to us, expressing our willingness to wait. We even suggested that the company retain 25% of the amount we had already transferred. Unfortunately, the response from the sales manager was far from satisfactory: a. The sales manager stated that if the lot size was so crucial to us, we should have measured it with tape. b. The sales manager pointed out that the signed contract did not specify the responsibility for ensuring a 60ft lot. And legally they are covered. c. Furthermore, we were threatened that if we chose not to proceed with the transfer, we would lose the entire $15,000 deposit. All of these events combined have left us deeply disappointed in our decision to purchase a Trophy home. I kindly request that you address these matters promptly and provide a resolution to the issues we have encountered. We believe that it is crucial to rectify these instances of racism / false property information and ensure that future customers do not have to face similar situations. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Srikanya Note : We are currently taking our legal opinion and will make a decision soon on filing of charges.
