I was surprised after I moved in some things obviously not my problem became my problem. My mistake for not knowing paint issues and minor wall damage needed to be found during my final walkthrough. [name removed] has been a gem. She has truly been an excellent representation of your company

It was some initial comments to the supervisor that were ignored and after I closed it was “too late”. The cinder block wall has construction debris that should have been removed. Black tar splotches and mortar overspray that just look bad. I need to paint it. [name removed] did give me a sherwin [name removed] certificate to help cover the cost. She has been a gem.

I’ve had a few new homes. [name removed] is by far the worst builder I’ve had. No care taken when building the house. Terrible communication during the building process. Horrible follow up during our warranty period. Will never buy from [name removed] again

My home was one of the better homes. Many neighbors have complained about many defects in their homes. Even though it was a better home it still had things that need to get fixed. The workmanship on the home isn't the best, or what you would expect from a 450k home in verrado, but Thanks to [name removed] everything is getting fixed. She made sure I didn't freak out and handled everything accordingly. There's only 1 thing that Landsea said was [name removed] tolerance. Which I'm still getting a private inspector to make sure, but other than that Landsea is fixing the mistakes made by the construction workers. [name removed] initially was also very helpful in the buying process of the home. They were the only 2 actually in contact with me and making sure it all went smooth.

It’s been a year and I’ve had 6 or 7 broken drawers delivered trying to replace one drawer. I’ve taken off work for each appointment. Also seems like every time something is fixed they break something else or do a sloppy job.

It has been several months and there are still items that landsea has not fixed, I have had 3 customer service representatives in that time so have to re-explain every time someone leaves. When I ask for updates I get terrible excuses. 1) address tile was cracked at move in and still hasn’t been relaxed. Excuse was that it was sent to wrong house and they had to reorder. 2) every single drawer in my kitchen that I paid to upgrade was either scratched or splitting open. I have had 3 of the 4 drawers repaired now after 6 different appointments and they never have all the materials to do all repairs. I am still waiting on one more drawer. 3) a light outside was completely crooked and after finally getting it approved for correction, they just took light off and put it back on without any change. It almost seems like a joke. 4) stair rail that I paid to upgrade was installed terribly and there is drywall damage around every area where stairrail touches. Someone came by to fix it but all they did was paint, not actually fix it. The repair was very lazy just like the original install. I work full time and it is difficult to take time off to accommodate these appointments and then on top of it, the work is shoddy. I feel like customer service should be present for all repairs to make sure that the job is actually done to the homeowners satisfaction and not just approving it without seeing the work.

EVERYTHING! [name removed] has been the worst builder and has had the worse customer service ever! It first started with [name removed], she was terrible, never would respond to emails or let us know the status of our home. I had to drive by constantly to even see if there was progress. She never had the answers and she even promised things (move in date) even when it didn't happen. Once we moved in, there were still things that need to be fixed. We didn't have a gate to our backyard, our hardware in the bathrooms were missing (mirrors, towel hangers, etc.), cabinets were missing, everything was just sloppily done especially for the price we paid. We then had to work with [name removed], she scheduled appointments but no one ever showed up on time or showed up at all. We switched to [name removed] and she has been great at emailing and scheduling but the contractors and trades that [name removed] is hiring does terrible work and has terrible customer service! We are at the year mark and there are so many things that need to be fixed, things that should not have to be done because we thought we were buying a BRAND NEW HOUSE. Our expectations were definitely not met. We will never buy with [name removed] again and anytime I have a family or friend ask, I always tell them to STAY AWAY from [name removed].

I think the most note worthy experience is the customer care representative [name removed]. She was super helpful and very easy to work with! She has honestly saved [name removed] from getting bad reviews from my husband and myself. She is an asset to [name removed] and I’m grateful to have had her as our customer care representative.
