I have had to submit SO many service requests in the first few months of our living in our new home - door knobs literally falling off, gaps between exterior door frames, issue with the granite counters in the kitchen, air conditioning issue and more. One that never got addressed or even acknowledged was the huge crack across our garage floor. I sent in on my last survey that I wanted to be contacted and for that issue to be addressed and never heard back from anyone at all. Since we purchased this house brand new, we should have been delivered a house with no issues. I would expect higher standards when spending this kind of money on a new home.

It took two people to fix my door and the stucco cracked after one bad rainstorm. Now the dishwasher is leaking water.

I am not happy with the landscaping in my backyard. I called the company several times. Email them no response. There’s holes in my grass. They planted a dead tree. It’s not leveled by no means it’s a disaster and they haven’t fixed it.

Firstly, we loved [name removed]. Our loan officer [name removed] was a little too laid back for us. The title company's communication was less than desired. We felt this cookie cutter home was basically just slapped together. Previously we had a home renovated and the work was flawless. Unfortunately with [name removed] this wasn't the case. I don't believe the builders took pride in their work. Nothing enough to complain about, but it was sloppy. The design center didn't have a big variety of choices and our consultant didn't really use her expertise to help us design our vision. She couldn't tell us what was included in the home or what needed to be upgraded. Example, she wasn't sure about what lightning came with the home, so we wound up getting too many lights for our family room. She didn't know if the bedrooms came with overhead lights. She really didn't suggest too much. The landscaping was embarrassing. Other developments have beautiful palm trees ornamental grasses,etc. We got a crepe myrtle and some ugly bushes besides the oaks in front and back. Again, I guess you get what you pay for. The project manager [name removed] talked a good game, but was useless. On the other hand [name removed] the warranty guy was fabulous. You called, left a message and within 5 minutes he got back to you with a solution. Would I buy landsea again? Probably not, I'd probably go with Beazer. I feel the design and quality are better.

The sales office staff was very helpful and professional; the cash incentives for buying the home were also a plus. We are very dissatisfied with the workmanship; however (skewed and bowed interior walls, scratched and nicked door panels, bowed window sashes that let in insects, very squeaky and uneven second-floor deck--our furniture moves when we walk near it). The warranty department was supportive but somethings were just not repairable. We are still waiting for fixes on the second floor deck.

Going thought the process of purchasing, we were given incorrect information through the entire process. This caused a bunch of unneeded stress trying to gather items last min to meet our obligations. I understand that things happen quickly, seeing that we are the people responsible to have the money, you should give all the accurate information in the beginning to ensure things don't have delays. The windows on our house do not seem to have a good deal and doors also seem to have issues ..

Follow up with the warranty people has been good, but there are just so many little things that need to be taken care of. Follow up with the builder is almost non existent.

The process of homeownership was easy, [name removed] was wonderful. The reps I stayed in contact for any issues, [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] were great. All they stated they were able to do, they did so professionally and within reasonable times. My experience was good however the quality of certain things was my issue.

Seems like some of your employees don’t give a damn about you during or after the closing. The warranty supervisor is always on point 1 call or text and he takes care of it.

The experience at the design center was pretty bad. The agent was not especially helpful and made the process very slow. Outside of that everything else was outstanding.

Appliances were not the best quality. Dish washer was broken the first week. Tree in front of the house was dead since the beginning. Concrete in the garage have a big crack. Lanai floor was paint came off right away.
