During the maintenance process, there was lack of clarity and expectations set were not met. We would take time off from work to be home for contracted companies to complete work and they didn't show up or the work was not completed and had to be rescheduled. [name removed] was rude and it takes a lot to have us feel that way about people. Things were scheduled without our consent and then an attitude was given when we said the dates had to be changed. The purchase of the home was wonderful. [name removed] is amazing and [name removed] at the mortgage company was the best.

Let me start with the dislikes number one I had to ensure that my downstairs restroom was properly built which it was knots, and then they had placed a walk-in shower. When it was supposed to be a tub and a shower they went through the process of fixing it towards the end of closing, which meant that they cut out the back wall of my house and had to re-plaster it, which bothered me, secondly, I felt that I was promised things and was told to keep a note about the yearly walk-through and I did but a lot of the things that I had noted were not I guess fixable or whatever one specific thing I had called out when we did, the walk-through was the paint cracking in my home And I was told that it was probably just a use of cheaper paint and whatever well that’s not my problem and you know a year later still haven’t had it fixed supposed to have people out here towards the end of the month to do it, but it’s really convenient to know that they’re gonna just do touchup as opposed to paint the whole thing like they should . I love my home though, so the great thing is [name removed] open the door for me and my family to really fulfill and live our dream. I can deal with the small or little things here and there, but overall [name removed] provided me the ability to fulfill my dream, which I will be forever indebted.

The craftsmanship on the home could be improved. There were some things left undone like the weatherstrip for the front door so we were constantly getting dust and bugs in the house. The sealants around counters in the kitchen and bathroom, some were not completed. There were a lot of things that were missed and not finished.

The only problem we had was that our microwave has never worked since we first moved in day one. I was told there was nothing the builder could do about it. Other than that I have been satisfied with our experience.

Oh we pretty much disliked everything. There are ZERO 90° angles in this house, bows in the walls, the bathtubs aren’t level, the grout has had to be done several times due to it being done so poorly the first time and after it being fixed, cracks all in the ceilings, we can see where the seams of drywall meet, there’s stuff under our carpets so when we walk we feel rocks or hard pieces of things, in the transitions between carpet and tile in EVERY ROOM you can feel the staples. Very unprofessional repairmen/women, landscapers, and HOA people, and y’all charge WAY TOO MUCH for upgrades, especially for things that should be included. I can’t honestly believe this builder was named builder of the year. I don’t think we have one nice thing to say about this house.

The construction of our home was quite bad. We are still trying to get things fixed. The point of buying a new home was to get a problem free home that we could just move into. We have had trades out 44 days out of 365 days so far, with 2 more scheduled and more to come. That’s 12% of a year that we’ve had work being done on our house. Fortunately I work from home most days and can deal with the trades. Our customer service rep, [name removed], is great, but the sheer amount of issues on this home have made things awful for us. There seemed to be no oversight or pride in work when it was built. The largest fix is coming when they have to pull out half our kitchen to repair a wall - construction allowed a bad piece of wood that literally made a bowed wall on the outside and inside. I can put my hand behind the cabinet, it is so bowed. This should have been fixed by any of the various trades who ignored it when the house was built and now we have to endure moving everything to wait for a fix with a partially unusable kitchen. Based on [name removed] trades track record, most likely something will break when they remove the cabinets and granite and then we’ll have to deal with that.

The quality of our home is not what it should be. Vendors are unprofessional in every sense of the word. [name removed] is useless and expensive. The park should be better and not in the entrance since there’s no gate. Very unsafe. Overall dissatisfied

Bought the house a year ago and have not been able to move into it and put my current home up for sale . Have had structural probs and electrical probs and flooding issues. This house has been a living nightmare. Get nothing but obnoxious attitude from a upper manager named [name removed]. Being told several times that that is just the way it is and was told several times that I can't prove that I didn't cause the damages...hard to do since I haven't moved into it or some damages are not covered. Nothing but nastiness from the contractors that did the original build from them. From refusal to do repairs to not showing for appointments to do the repairs. [name removed] homeowners in my community are having the same issues with this company . Have also spoken to other people in other communities all having same probs and regrets. Try contacting the CEO [name removed] multiple times with no response back. Myself and several others are warning people to avoid this builder.

[name removed] has been great understanding and caring about all of our concerns when we first moved in. When we showed her problems she agreed they were problems and set up appointments for people to come and fix them. She did not give us a hard time, push us away, or tell us to deal with it - which is the experience I got from two of the front office sales people when I showed them two different problems.
