Working with [name removed] has been the best experience ever. We consider [name removed] more than a friend. She pushed for our phase to open and explained the whole process. She also answered our calls/questions when she was in the office, out of the office and even sick.

The build quality of the homes is very poor. The drywalls are cracking up at every joint, got them fixed three times but the cracks again show up. The microwave oven is making an obnoxious starting sound, opened ticket twice. Each time ticket is closed without resolution after 2 months.

Dislike that there were to many faulty details with the house from missing doorbell chime to warped wood frames. I like the representatives and the customer care has been good when putting in service request.

[name removed] and the customer care team have continuously declined my request for certain repairs that are important to me and my family. In addition, [name removed] is lazy with a bad attitude. Furthermore, [name removed] ignores phone calls after 2pm. Additionally, I have noticed that my house has a poor foundation due to cheap building material coupled with the fact that it was built too quickly without the time to curate properly. I have many miscellaneous cracks inside and outside of my home due to the structural weakness. Also, some of the contractors [name removed] uses have horrible customer service. My family and I regret purchasing a home from [name removed].

The build was delayed a few times. Also, the loan officers didn’t have great communication with us regarding time lines. The closing signing appointment was last minute and rushed.

So far, the warranty service has been good whenever I've needed it, which, unfortunately, has been quite often due to initial build quality issues. However, customer care has been consistently helpful and responsive after I report any problems.

Construction complete on time. There were a few things that needed to be fixed and [name removed] came right away and addressed the issue.

From start to finish, the entire experience felt like a hard sell. We never felt like valued customers. The sales agent, Kim, from the main office, even told us, "If you don't buy now, I'll find someone else tomorrow. I have no problem selling to them." This attitude left a bad impression from the outset. Then, just a day after we closed on the house, our home was broken into. When I contacted customer service, they told me to handle it myself since the house had already been sold (the sale closed on Friday afternoon, and the break-in occurred on Saturday night). Thankfully, Jovani assisted us by helping to get the electricity repaired. It seems the entire neighborhood had been affected by similar break-ins, which finally prompted some action. However, the job they did on the door was poor—just a temporary fix. The paint is now damaged, and the door is not properly repaired. I contacted Gilbert to ask if they would help with the paint and the door damage, and to inquire when they could come in for the promised paint touch-ups, as we are moving in. During the walk-through, they assured us there would be touch-ups before we moved in. Gilbert responded by saying, "We're not going to paint your whole house," which made me feel as if I was asking for a free service. I was only asking for the touch-ups they promised. During the initial walk-through, we also pointed out a broken piece of the door and damage to the roof. They assured us that the door would be fixed and that a roofer would address the roof issue. However, when we returned, the door was poorly patched with putty, and a month later, the roof still hasn’t been repaired, and the door hasn’t been replaced. When I called last week to follow up, they told me to just submit an order request, even though these issues were present before we even received the house. So far, the experience has been one of over-promising and under-delivering. The quality of service, particularly the after-care and customer service, has been extremely disappointing.

I was told the house would be similar to the model home I have spent $120 in up grades with the builder and $200k outside and I am no where close to the model home. $ 1.6 million literally for a fixer upper.
